For this new season, Citröen has chosen to display electric vehicles: the C-ZERO, a small city car to be marketed before the end of the year, and the Survolt, an electric concept car revealed at the latest Geneva Motor Show. Moving up the floors, visitors are introduced successively to various cars offering reduced levels of emissions of CO2: a C3 and a DS3, both emitting less than 99 grams of CO2 per km, a C3 Picasso with 119 g CO2/km and a C5 with 130 g… What is their common denominator? These cars all belong to Citroën’s range and all are on the roads. Citröen is also pursuing its environmental effort abroad. In China, the Brand is aiming at reducing the average level of CO2 emissions from its cars by half by 2010. As Citroën’s international flagship showroom, C_42 is featuring a demonstrator from China for the first time: the C_Quatre Stop&Start, which has never been driven in Europe. Another solution to become a responsible eco-friendly driver is to opt for green driving. Visitors may try EcoGotchi, a simulator which applies all the behaviour principles that help consume less fuel and thus emit less CO2, as well as enjoy, all along the visit, playful activities informing them about the technologies and green materials Citroën uses. These are many commitments made by Citroën, resolutely directed at protecting the climate and the environment.
